After giving it much thought*, I have come to the conclusion that having long, curly hair is not unlike owning a small to medium sized pet.
I just wish they had some sort of obedience class for tresses like mine. "Sit" and "stay" mean nothing to my locks. "Roll over", on the other hand, we have mastered.
*I have a lot of time to ponder things while I am conditioning and detangling.
